Descrizione: IT Il povero contadinello dei Becchi è venerato nella Basilica di San Pietro tra i fondatori di Congregazioni religiose. La sua statua (opera del Canonica) campeggia al posto d’onore, al di sopra dell’antichissima effigie di San Pietro e del ritratto di Pio IX, suo protettore e amico. Un particolare curioso e quasi incredibile: Don Bosco, in un sogno, vide se stesso in San Pietro, esattamente nel luogo occupato oggi (1965) dalla sua statua.; IT The poor peasant boy of Becchi is today venerated in St. Peter’s Basilica amongst the founders of Religious Congregations. His statue, by Canonica, has the place of honour, over the ancient statue of St. Peter and the picture of Pius IX, his protector and friend. A curious and almost unbelievable fact, for once, Don Bosco saw himself, in a dream, in the very spot now occupied by his statue.
