A sinistra: i resti di Don Bosco trasportati da Valsalice a Torino-Valdocco il 9 giugno 1929, in un trionfo di folla che gremiva le vie di Torino, pregando e cantando.
- IT On the 3rd of June 1929, Pius XI proclaimed Don Bosco “Blessed”. The plate on the right shows the Pope, kneeling in prayer before an image of the new Blessed. The plate on the left shows the body of Don Bosco being brought in triumph from Valsalice to Valdocco on the 9th of June 1929, accompanied by an immense crowd, praying and singing hymns through the streets of Turin.
