- IT La salma di Don Bosco fu esposta nella ’ galleria ’ accanto alle sue stanze. Rivestito dei paramenti sacerdotali, Don Bosco fu visitato da una fiumana interminabile di fedeli. La foto fu scattata il giorno stesso della sua morte, il 31 gennaio 1888. Il crocifisso e la poltrona si conservano ancora nella ' galleria ’, accanto alle stanze del Santo.
- IT Don Bosco’s body was placed in the corridor outside his rooms. He was clothed in his priestly vestments, and a ceaseless throng of the faithful came to pay their last tribute. This photograph was taken on the very day of his death, 31st of January 1888. The crucifix and the armchair are still to be seen in the corridor outside his room.
