- IT La confessione fu evidentemente uno dei mezzi più efficaci nelle mani di Don Bosco per educare i suoi ragazzi. Era la sorgente dell’educazione personale più profonda e immediata. Quando si trattava di iniziare l’educazione di un ragazzo, il Santo gli diceva: « Confessati! ». La foto ritrae Don Bosco che confessa il ragazzetto Paolo Albera, che sarà poi il secondo successore del Santo. Il documento mostra che Don Bosco confessava in pubblico.
- IT Confession was quite clearly one of the most efficacious means used by Don Bosco in the education of his boys. It was the source which produced the most profund and immediate individual education. When starting the task of beginning a boy’s education Don Bosco would say to him: “Go to Confession.” The picture shows Don Bosco hearing the confession of young Paul Albera, who was his second successor as head of the Salesian Society. It also shows that Don Bosco heard Confessions in public.
