Descrizione: IT Cestino per la carta. Vi si vede un biglietto postale dello Stato Pontificio. Fu probabilmente in un cestino del genere che la polizia ispezionando la camera di Don Bosco, su comando del ministro Farini, trovò una busta con francobolli dello Stato Pontificio. La scoperta aumentò i sospetti. Don Bosco teneva dunque una corrispondenza con la Santa Sede? Quel documento non fu sufficiente per comprometterlo, ma da quel giorno Don Bosco fu tenuto d’occhio...; IT Waste-paper basket; inside can be seen a postcard from the Pontifical States. It was probably in such a basket that the police found an envelope bearing a Papal stamp when they came to search Don Bosco’s rooms at the order of Minister Farini. Its discovery increased their suspicions of Don Bosco. So, they thought, it was true that he was in correspondence with the Holy See! The document was not enough to compromise Don Bosco, but, from then on, he was kept under surveillance.
