Descrizione: IT Quadernetto di Don Rua, dove si racconta la fondazione dei Salesiani: « La sera del 26 gennaio 1854 ci radunammo nella stanza del signor Don Bosco; c’erano Don Bosco, Rocchietti, Artiglia, Cagliero e Rua; e ci venne proposto di fare, con l’aiuto del Signore e di San Francesco di Sales, una prova di esercizio pratico della carità verso il prossimo, per venire poi a una promessa, e quindi, se fosse possibile e conveniente, farne un voto al Signore. Da tal sera fu posto il nome di Salesiani a coloro che si proposero e si proporranno tale esercizio ».; IT A note-book of Don Rua, wherein is described the founding of the Salesians: “On the night of the 26th of January 1854 we gathered in Don Bosco’s room. There were present Don Bosco, Rocchietti, Artiglia, Cagliero and Rua. It was proposed that we should make, with the help of God and St. Francis of Sales, a trial of the exercise of practical charity towards our neighbour, and then, if possible and convenient, to make a vow of it to God. From that evening the name ‘Salesian’ was given to those who proposed, or would propose, to undertake such a practice.”
