The Relic of Don Bosco reaches Morogoro. The first stop is in one of the town parishes, Kwa Ndege, where the parish priest and a huge number of Christians welcome Don Bosco with singing and dancing. After about an hour and a half, the Relic is taken to the St. Patrick's Cathedral at the town centre, in solemn procession, directed by the local police and accompanied by many cars, motorbikes, buses carrying children and a brass band. After that, the Relic is taken to Don Bosco Novitiate and for the rest of the night the Novices spent the time in vigil around Don Bosco. On the following day 13th, the Relic is taken in St. Monica Church where is celebrated a Mass. Finally the Relic leaves Morogoro and on the road it make a short stop-over at the house of the Sisters of the Mary Immaculate (SMI). -
The Relic of Don Bosco arrives in Nzaikoni Machakos, a Salesian parish in the eastern side of the City, 80 kilometers from Nairobi, and visits the Catholic Cathedral Our Lady of Lourdes. Then, the Casket leaves Nzaikoni for the Salesian Theologate Don Bosco Utume, in Nairobi. In the evening the boys of the Bosco Boys Centre accompany the Relic in a candle procession to the main Centre Kuwinda. -
The Relic of Don Bosco arrives in Moshi and it is taken directly to the Cathedral where there is a huge crowed together with the Bishop of Moshi waiting. Don Bosco is welcomed with lots of singing and dancing and is celebrated with a Mass. After the Mass Don Bosco is brought to the Salesian Philosophate and a solemn Mass is celebrated. -
The Relic of Don Bosco arrives in Kakuma Refugee camp about 900 kilometers North West of Kenya, where live about 80.000 refugees from Somalia, Ethiopia, Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo and few other countries. -
The Relic of Don Bosco arrives in Dodoma and it's taken to the K/Ndege parish where a beautiful welcome is given to Don Bosco by way of a prayer service amidst wonderful singing of the choir. After, the people accompany the Relic to Don Bosco Seminary, singing and dancing along the road. Upon arrival the Relic was handed over to the Rector of the Institute. On 9th of December the Relic is taken in procession to Don Bosco Tech where is celebrated a Mass with wonderful singing and liturgical dances. Two bishop, the Bishop of Dodoma, Gervas, and the Bishop Emeritus Mathias Isujaas, and 20 priests, salesians and non-salesinans are present at the altar. Finally, the Relic is taken to the Convent of the SMI (Sisters of Mary Immaculate). On 10th of December the Convoy carrying the Relic of Don Bosco runs its 560 kilometer journey from Dodoma to Iringa. -

Dar Es Salaam welcomes Don Bosco: the brass band plays the tunes of songs to Don Bosco to which everyone is dancing around the Relic. In the evening, the police, with the loud siren, accompanies the Relic to Don Bosco Tech Oysterbay, where a huge crowd together with the auxiliary Bishop of Dar Es Salaam Eusebius Nzigilwa, many priests and religious are waiting. On the following day 14th, the Relic is taken to the Cathedral of the City where the Cardinal Polycarp Pengo, his two auxiliaries, Eusebius Nzigilwa and Salutarius Libena, many priests, Salesians and non-Salesians, and a crowd of people are waiting. After the Solemn Mass in the Cathedral, the Relic is taken to Don Bosco Youth Centre Upanga. Finally the convoy carrying the Relic moves to Temeke, the Salesian Sister's (FMA) Youth Centre. -
Celebration around the Relic of Don Bosco at the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians, in Don Bosco Upper Hill, Nairobi with very colorful cultural dances and symbols, and Solemn Mass concelebrated by three Bishops, the Bishop of Marsabit Peter Kihara, the Bishop of Kitui Anthony Muheria, the Apostolic Nuncio Alain Paul Lebeaupin, and 20 priests, salesians and non-salesians. After that, the Relic of Don Bosco was taken to the Salesian Novitiate, in the suburb of Mutuini, where the novices, the sisters, the children of the primary school and the people of the locality were given a rousing welcome. Finally, the Relic of Don Bosco was taken to D.B.Y.E.S. (Don Bosco Youth Educational Services) and BEAMS (Bosco Eastern Africa Multimedia Services) where was organized a beautiful moment of prayer, at the end of which the Salesians renewed their vows, 'witnessed' by Don Bosco. -
At Mafinga junction a huge crowd, from the parish, from different outstations and other parishes joins the convoy and leads Don Bosco in procession to Mafinga Parish, where the Bishop Tarcisius Ndalalagundwa is waiting to preside a Solemn Mass. After that, the Relic is taken to the Catechists' Training Centre (CTC) Makalala where, together with the sisters and few people from around, the Salesians gather around Don Bosco in a beautiful moment of prayer. An hour later the Relic is taken to Don Bosco Seminary where a group of about 90 boys who come back to be with Don Bosco even though they were on holiday, have spent an hour with the Father and Friend of Youth in a moment of prayer and reflection. -

3rd December 2012: Hurlingham, Kenya The Relic of Don Bosco arrives at the Provincial House of the Salesian Sisters (FMA), at Hurlingham. Don Bosco is welcomed in a very colorful manner by a group of FMAs and children dressed in colorful Maasai dress. After a moment of welcome by the Superior Sr. Theresa Fernandes, the Relic is taken to their chapel for a moment of prayer. -
The Relic of Don Bosco On the road of Shinyanga, the Relic of Don Bosco stops in Didia at Don Bosco Secondary School where big crowd of students and people of the locality are waiting. After a small prayer service, the Relic and the crowd moves to the parish where there is a solemn Mass. Later the Relic is taken in Shinyanga Cathedral, where there is a huge crowd and where the Vicar General celebrates a Mass. In this way the pilgrimage of the Relic of Don Bosco ends. -

Patio 13 is a open and pluralistic project , invented in 2001 by the Normal School Mary Help of Copacabana (Colombia) and two German institutions: the University of Heidelberg and the pedagogical University of Fribourg. The project is committed to training teachers engaged with social issues and able to offer a relevant and integral teaching for children and young people living in marginal situations. -
Patio 13 es un proyecto abierto y plural, diseñado en el 2001 por la Escuela Normal María Auxiliadora de Copacabana (Colombia) y dos instituciones alemanas: La Universidad de Heidelberg y la Universidad Pedagógica de Friburgo. El proyecto forma docentes comprometidos con cuestiones sociales y capaces de ofrecer una enseñanza relevante e integral a niños y jóvenes que viven en situaciones de marginalidad. -

150 anni fa nasceva la Tipografia dell'Oratorio, com'era chiamata la prima Scuola Grafica Salesiana, che avviò la sua produzione in modo familiare nel 1862, soltanto con un torchio e due macchine a ruota. Negli anni la tipografia si è trasformata per rimanere al passo dei tempi, adattandosi alle nuove tecnologie, grazie alla lungimiranza e al coraggio di Don Bosco e dei suoi successori... due cose però non sono cambiate: il clima di Famiglia e la professionalità. -

Tra il XV e il XIX secolo circa 12-13 milioni di africani furono strappati alla loro terra per essere deportati nelle Americhe. Oggi sembra ripetersi un copione già scritto: in Benin un bambino su sei viene sottratto alla sua Famiglia per svolgere presso altre lavori di servitù domestica. La tradizione secolare dell'affido dei bambini a persone all'interno della Famiglia allargata incaricate di averne cura e di provvedere alla sua istruzione è stata reinterpretata in nome del denaro ed è degenerata nel traffico di minori. In questo documentario sono raccolti i racconti di alcune bambine sfuggite alla tratta: una testimonianza preziosa e un segnale di speranza per il futuro. -

En Benin de cada seis niños uno viene separado de su Familia para realizar trabajos de servidumbre doméstica para terceros. La tradición secular de la colocación familiar de niños a miembros de la Familia extensa, responsables de cuidar y proveer a su Educación, ha sido reinterpretada en el nombre del dinero y degenerada en el tráfico de menores. En este documental se recogen historias de algunas niñas que han escapado al tráfico: un precioso testimonio y una señal de esperanza para el futuro. -
