- <We are in Kami, a remote village in the Bolivian Andes, tenaciously clinging to the mountains, at 4,000 meters above sea level. Kami has two souls : the minera (mining), linked to the tungsten mine , and the campesina soul (peasant). Here, in this remote Andean village, three Italian salesians missionaries arrived with the idea of helping people to improve their living conditions, without imposing their presence, but offering his friendship and collaboration to give a new hope to Kami.>
